The trustee has decided that production will be continud.

The board of the company decided to make the company bankrupt.
February 27th - Birthday
Today is the 84th Anniversary for the Cheese Slicer.
February 9th - New handles
We experience that the dish-washers break down the wooden handles very quick, and have now made dish-washer-safe "wooden" handles. They are available as beech and rosewood.
October 28th - New product: Cutty cheese slicer - to promote your company!
September 26th - New product
We are now introducing a 2-piece set in a History book. The set includes a Cheese slicer and Cheese knife with handles of arctic birch. The pack, called History book, tells a little about the story of the inventor and the invention in Norwegian, English and German. It is nice to use as souvenir or gift.
August 26th - New brochure
During the spring and summer, we have developed a new brochure, which is now under distribution to stores all over Scandinavia.

August 19th - Web-site updated
Our web-site is now updated with new photos. A lot of atmosphere photos have been added.
August 11th - Summer Holidays finished
Our production department is now running again after the vacation!

June 11th - New display for gift sets
We have now launched a new kind of display for displaying our gift sets in stores. All our standard gift sets fit in the display. Here are three displays placed side by side.
May 13th - Summer Holidays 2008
We have now made the schedule for this years Summer Holidays.
Our production will be closed for four weeks, in the period July 14th - August 11th.
Our office and packing department will be closed in the period July 18 th - August 4th.

We received the Norwegian "Merket for god design" yesterday.

We are now introducing two new gift sets, which will be available this spring.

2007 is left behind, and 2008 has just started, with all its possibilities.
November 2007 - TEST WINNER!
One of our cheese slicers won a test in Norsk Ukeblad between 9 different cheese slicers.

A campaign is now run in many stores in Norway on an Amitto© cheese set, containing cheese slicer and spreader with red handles.

Our Shellfish set have been getting compliments on fares in both Norway and Sweden, and it is getting popular in both countries.

We can now offer our special designed Shellfish sets. This will be a hit! Eirin Støen has designed the set. We have two different packings:

New phone system! We convert to become a wireless company, and can be reached on our main number +47 612 47 900 (as earlier) on our different mobile numbers. Our fax number remains unchanged.

We have started using our new logo and our new "Patent mark", and these will replace the ones used earlier.

Both our Amitto-products and fish set Kvenna get attention in media, which we really enjoy. In Holland, our distributor was portraited in a one hour programme on national TV, and the Bjørklund products was much in focus.

Today the English version of our web-site is complete, with new photos and it is now at the same level the Norwegian version.

Yesterday the cheese slicer and Thor Bjørklund & Sønner was presented in the program "Bästa formen" on Swedish SVT2.
